The Superstar Championship is unlike any other title in Federation X. It is a title whose champion must rely solely on their interactive storytelling ability. As a result of this, the belt is often held by the elite storytellers of the game; the most creative, inclusive and capable of elevating everyone’s story. As a title that changes hands exclusively through rolling-roleplay matches, there is no champion’s advantage in title defenses as there may be with other titles.

CHAMPIONSHIP REQUIREMENTS

  1. The Superstar Champion will defend on every Federation X supercard.
  2. The title may also be defended on territory cards at the request of that territory’s commissioner, with the approval of the CEO.
  3. The Superstar Champion must post at least 1x/week in Federation X.
  4. The Superstar Champion must post at least 1x/quarter in each territory.
  5. Failure to meet the championship requirements may result in the champion being stripped by the CEO.

  2. Contenders in this division may also be contenders in other divisions.
  3. No current singles champions (excluding 24/7 champions) may be contenders in this division.
  4. There are no rankings challenges in this division.
  5. Rankings updates only take place as a result of weekly rankings updates, or after a Superstar match on a card.

  7. Any wrestler may opt out of the division at any time by notifying the Federation X commissioner or the CEO.

  7. No wrestler may INT in their own match with one of their alts.
  8. There is a maximum of 1 INT per wrestler.
  9. Any INT that appears to be intentionally done to damage a score will be thrown out. The offending wrestler will suffer a sim penalty as determined by the CEO.
  10. All matches will be judged by Grayson (unless otherwise indicated on the card).

SCORING RULES

Match scoring will be:

    1. A 5 point formula will be used to score each post (see: Grayson’s judging criteria).
    2. The average score of all of a wrestler’s posts will be determined.
    3. The average score will be multiplied by the number of posts a wrestler scored at or above 3. This will give wrestlers their base score.
    4. +1 will be added to a wrestler’s base score each time that they provide their opponent with a Superstar Moment, affording them the opportunity to do something creative and original. These moments open the collaborative story to new plot devices, unexpected twists, or shocking resolutions that have a meaningful impact. The moral behind this is that true Superstars make their opponents better. Securing these bonus points often determines the outcome of the match.
    5. Any INT points are applied to a wrestler’s score.
    6. The final scores are compared and a wrestler is declared the winner.

INT Scoring will be:

    1. INTs will be scored on a 3 point scale:
      • [-1] Posts that serve no real purpose, or detract from the story
      • [0] Posts that add to the story in context, but don’t introduce anything meaningful
      • [+1] Posts that positively impact the story by bringing new creative elements or creating meaningful outcomes
